PROPOSALS FOR 2009 Territory Craft Gallery Open | Deadline: 24 July 2008 Territory Craft Gallery showcases the work of emerging and established artists. Encouraging local contemporary and traditional crafts people to further develop their practice. Territory Craft is now considering proposals for inclusion in the 2009 exhibition calendar deadline COB Thursday 24 July 2008. Please submit: • A description of your intended show including medium, artists names and proposed title of exhibition. • Five (5) images (10 for group - cd preferred) of the work if already created, or images relevant to your ideas. • A one page cv (per artist). • What time of year you would like to exhibit. This doesn’t guarantee your exhibition time but gives Territory Craft an indication of your preference. Selection Process • Preference is given to Territory Craft members. • Exhibitions should have a sound craft and design basis. • Work should be original, innovative. Preference will be given to exhibitions featuring works made within the last 18 months. • Artists will be notified in early November of the success or otherwise of the exhibition proposal. Gallery Costs: $300 for Two (2) weeks / Three (3) weekends plus 10% commission on sales Gallery hours: Tuesday, Thursday - Sunday 10 am – 4.30 pm. Weekends and Public holidays to be sat by the artist/s Exhibition Responsibilities and Costs: To be discussed with the Committee if your proposal is accepted. |
