Tutors and Students
An exhibition designed to promote the many
and various workshops held here at Territory Craft. These include
postcards, beads, pendants and lampshades in glass. Silver smithing,
textile dying and printing, ceramics, wheel throwing, shoemaking,
mosaics and fibre sculpture.
Apr 5 - April 9
Carole Phayer
A fashion parade will open this exhibition of felted hand made items and other wearable art. Open over Easter only.

Barlib Aboriginal Arts and Craft
This organisation operates from Katherine but
wish to display their handcrafts at an exhibition in Darwin. Items will
include traditional and contemporary paintings, jewellery from native
materials. Also carved timber bowls and weapons, didgeridoos and
clapsticks, mosaic pieces.

Ingrid Gersmanis, Karen Roberts and Marita Albers
A variety of different works from three
Darwin artists. Sculptural pieces, paintings, mosaics and jewellery.
Many will use recycled elements and all will have a water theme.

June 15 - July 1 Feed the Soul with Love Gerald Clapham and Kate Bussey
Traditional and contemporary ceramic pieces,
some functional and some for display and artistic purposes. A variety
of clay and glaze techniques will be displayed.

July 6 - July 22
Members' Exhibition
An exhibition open to all Territory craft members, this time
focusing our attention on ceramics, textiles, fibre and mixed media.
July 26 to Aug 12
Catherine Buckley, Sarah Body and Jo Bruce
this exhibition will include paintings,
ceramic sculptural pieces, ceramic tables, welded pieces and woven
fibre baskets and creatures.

Aug 17 - Sep 2
Bima Wear
This exhibition is designed to coincide with
the Telstra Art Award and the Aboriginal Art Fair and will feature work
from an Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory. To be
finalised.

culmination of work made on the premises by our 2012 Artist in
Residence, Sandra Lancaster
